Smoke Extraction

In a structure on fire, smoke and combustion gases spread quickly, obscuring the area and suffocating occupants. Smoke extraction, whether natural or mechanical, is a system designed to evacuate smoke and hot gases by creating a free air space with an acceptable level of oxygen and visibility.

The goal is to facilitate the evacuation of occupants, limit the spread of the fire, and allow firefighters access to the premises.
